How do you convince someone you love that they should not break up with you?

My boyfriend broke up with me and I want to show him that hes only doing it because he's scared. He tells me he's happy and loves me but he thinks its over.How do you convince someone you love that they should not break up with you?
Why would he think it's over if he's happy %26amp; loves you? It seems that this is not the case %26amp; he may not want to hurt your feelings by telling you the truth. If he truly feels this way he wouldn't want to leave the relationship! If he's saying he no longer wants to be with you, you should definitely let him go. You don't want to be with someone, that doesn't want to be with you because you'll never get the true benefits of the relationship-everything will be based on a lie. There are many other guys out there for you. You never know, you just might meet someone your more compatible with %26amp; like even better. If the two of you are meant to be together-he'll be back!!How do you convince someone you love that they should not break up with you?
Just leave him, don't talk to him and ignore him, he will realise what hes missing. Both my ex's broke up with me so I acted like I moved on then after a month or so they both told me that they regret breaking up with me, but by the time they told me I already have a much better boyfriend who I have been with for a year and 4 months and still going :)
