ouch, that situation even hurts me, but i do have some advice


1. be gentle, i know that one is obvious, but bear with me


2. be firm, let him know that it really is over


3. do not place any blame for the situation, on either him or you


4. make the break-up about you, you are just not getting what you want, it is not anything he did wrong


5. get it done quickly, any delays makes it harder for both of you


6. do this in a semi-public place, less drama


7. wear nice clothes, but nothing sexy or romantic


8. leave immediately after you break the news, less drama and less doubt that it is over.
